=Disabled List and Minor List replacement players do not have to be bid on (but may at Owners option) and are picked up as a "First Claim, First Get" (they receive the salary of the player they are replacing) and are linked to the inactive player.=
1) A player must be in the player pool on CBS before a bid can be started on him. He must also show active in the NL on one of our four Official Sites before the bid ends. If a player does not show on one of the Official Sites but plays in a game, he shall be considered actived for our purposes as of that day.
2) A bid on a DL player may be started while the player is still on the DL List.
3) If you wish to bid on a player, post a message that asks the Commish to turn on the FAAB. No players name is necessary. The Commish will turn on the FAAB and post a message as to what day it will run. You may then bid on your player, not before. If you request that it be activated on Tuesday (for example) before noon, it will run Wednesday at midnight. If you request the activation after noon Tuesday, it will run Thursday at midnight. When bidding on a player, you must indicate who you are dropping, putting on the DL or ML should you win. The only exception to this is if a player on your team has recently been put on the DL or sent to the Minors and CBS has not updated their site. In this case you need only put who you are bidding on and should you win the player, then post a message asking the Commish to make your DL / ML move for you.
4) While the FAAB is turned on, you must post your DL/ML moves on the Message Board and the Commish will make them for you after the FAAB has been turned off. All moves will be backdated to the Message Board date and time. If you wish to indicate a first and second choice for your DL/ML pickup, in case your DL/ML player is won in a bid, this will be allowed. If you post a DL/ML player replacement message, then later decide to include the DL/ML player in your FAAB bid, that is allowed. If you win the bid it will make your Message Post Void.
5) If you want to increase your bid on the same player, that is allowed. The system will use your highest bid.
6) If there is a tie for the high bid, the system uses the reverse order of the standings as of last Sunday. The order is shown on the Add/Drop page. When the FAAB is complete, I will turn it off and you may make your own moves again.
7) The day a bid ends is on the last day of the cycle at midnight even though the actual run might not take place until a few minutes after midnight.
