Auction Day Procedure

We will determine who throws out the first player name for bidding by drawing lots. We will then continue throwing out names by going in a clockwise rotation around the room. In every instance, the Owner throwing out the name must make the first bid on the player. We will have periodic pauses to recap the amount of money each Owner has remaining. These recaps may only be done after a round of bidding has been completed (i.e. after the last Owner in the rotation and before the first Owner). When the Auction is over, any players on an Owners team who are on the DL may be replaced with substitutes. The person who threw out the first name will have first selection on picking his substitutes (only one player may be selected in each rotation). The same clockwise rotation will be used for other Owners to pick their substitutes. We will continue the rotation until all substitutes are selected. == After everyone has left the Auction, if an Owner still has DL slots to fill, he may email them to the Commish and I will enter them on the active roster so that he gets credit for the first game. No other transactions may be made until I get all of the rosters posted. This will give me time to get everything in order before the transactions begin. I will make a special effort to get this done early Monday, but no promises. I will email the league when all players are posted.
