Topper Bid Procedure
Topper Player Definition == A player that is
picked up during mid-season as an Injury or Minor List
replacement. He does not have a salary established
and remains on the team's Winter Roster at the end of
the season. -- Topper Players may not be
one of the players kept for the following season, but
the Topper Owner has "last bid" rights during the Auction as
described below. ==
Topper Players will be Bid on along with other players
at the Auction and their names can be thrown out for a Bid at anytime.
When a Topper Players name is announced, the name of the
Topper Owner will also be announced at that time. An
Owner may throw out the name of his own Topper Player.
The Owner would announce that it is his own Topper Player
and would be required to make a one dollar bid on the player.
If there are other bids, all of those will be completed
and then the Topper Owner will be allowed to Bid again if
he wishes. -- In all cases after the Topper Owner bids,
the previous high bid will get one last chance to bid again.
The Topper Owner may then make a final bid to win the player.
